Every animal at the Attraction is available for symbolic adoption. You can purchase any of our adoption packages to help provide expert animal care Attraction-wide.

Seeing these wonderful creatures in action is an experience to remember. We encourage our guests to take photos of their alligator adventures as well as our many other reptiles and amphibians.

We believe that by educating people about these interesting animals in a hands on manner, we can dispel some of the myths regarding them while also growing our conservation efforts.

CONSERVATION

Conservation is a major part of the Alligator Attraction’s mission. Wildlife plays an important role in the health and balance of Florida’s environment. Our goal is to educate residents and visitors about the abundant reptile and aquatic wildlife found in Florida to ensure their survival for future generations.

Conservation has become increasingly important as human activity and global warming negatively impact the habitats of these majestic species. Fewer natural habitats remain each year. The habitats that do remain are degraded and bear little resemblance to the wild areas that existed in the past. Habitat loss due to destruction, fragmentation and degradation of habitat is the primary threat to the survival of wildlife.

Endangered species live in danger of becoming extinct because of low or falling populations, or because they are threatened by environmental stress.

ARMED & BEAUTIFUL

Alligators are an important part of Florida’s landscape and play a valuable role in the ecology of our state’s wetlands. Alligators are predators and help keep other aquatic animal populations in balance. In 1975 these beautiful animals were placed on the endangered species list, no longer endangered but still federally protected in the wild, the attraction aims to help the cause through the species survival plan set up by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Your sponsorship could help raise awareness for a vulnerable species and provide expert medical care year round.

 

TOO CUTE

The Attraction is buzzing about our THREE African Spur Thigh Tortoises, Yoshi, Littlefoot, and their big brother Rudolph The Attraction is proud to be a leader in Turtle conservation, education and science, and invites the public to celebrate and support tortoises by visiting them year round. Share the care at the Attraction by purchasing a Tortoise adoption package. Your symbolic adoption will help to provide expert care and enrichment for the Attraction’s creep for one year. These packages make great gifts for all occasions!

Gator Kisses for everyone at your next event!

Imagine what your guests might say about your special event if they got to hold a live alligator?

Gator Kisses are one of our most popular features at Alligator Attraction, so we’re sure they will be a hit with your guests. Making memories won’t be the only result, because nothing brings out the cameras more than the chance to pose with a live alligator! This is a one-of-a-kind presentation.

Our professional alligator handlers will visit your office, convention, home, school or any other venue to add a wild side to your event. You can pick from an alligator, lizard, snake and other critters from our Wildlife Learning Center to interact with your guests. Our animal handlers will be able to talk about the animal’s natural habitat and what we can do to ensure that they are around for many years to come.

Our gators are used on a seven-day rotation, which gives them a break from interacting and time to rest. It is easy to tell that our gators do not struggle or resist this treatment; they even seem to enjoy it! We believe that educational efforts like these are crucial to the long-term survival of our American alligators. When people learn a healthy respect for alligators, people and alligators are both better off!

When you display one of our alligators at your event, you are helping ensure the survival of these animals. We agree with Charles Darwin “ The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.”

To Plan Your Field Trip:

• Complete and return the ?Field Trip Reservation Form? at least 3 weeks in advance of your trip.

• Once registered, you will be emailed a confirmation packet which includes arrival information and suggested activities.

• To receive discounted field trip rates, schools or recreation departments must make one payment for the entire group in the form of cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover), or school/business-affiliated check. Please note that anyone paying separately will be charged the full price of admission.

• Buses park is free; parking for other vehicles is based on metered lots or garage pricing.
