Our Story
Mobiliti CRE was founded by a former attorney who was troubled by the potential and actual conflicts of interest observed in the commercial real estate industry. Imagine getting sued by someone. Would you ask the plaintiff’s lawyer to represent you as well? You would never do that as the conflict is too obvious and the attorney would be prevented by law from representing you. However, that scenario is not too different from the situation tenants often find themselves in when they’re looking to find new space or renegotiate their existing lease.
The landlord is represented by a professional real estate broker whose job is to get the best deal they can for the landlord. If the tenant does not have their own independent real estate broker representing them, they will be at a disadvantage.
Many of the companies charged with finding the best deals for commercical real estate tenants are also the same companies representing landlords. They may try to reassure their tenant clients that there’s no conflict of interest. However, It is honestly difficult to be objective when you represent both sides at the bargaining table.
