The Canopy Rooftop Lounge is perched atop The Birchwood in the heart of St. Petersburg’s waterfront, complete with private cabanas, fire pits, living room seating and high top tables. With glass railings affording an unobstructed view of Tampa Bay, Straub Park, Beach Drive and the downtown St. Petersburg skyline, you’ll find nothing else like it in St. Pete. Only The Canopy Rooftop Lounge lets you experience breathtaking views, invigorating libations and tantalizingly delicious light fare from 4 stories above Beach Drive.

The Birchwood’s upper-level kitchen serves The Canopy a selection of dishes suitable for such a casual lounge atmosphere. Choose from a seasonal menu of sandwiches, flatbreads, and appetizers. As with our signature cocktails, all dishes use fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farms and markets.

What better way to enjoy such a view than over drinks shared with friends? The fully stocked bar and well-trained staff are there to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Choose from an extensive wine list, or try one of our signature cocktails. All ingredients used in our seasonal cocktails are sourced fresh from the area.

OUTDOOR SEATING & CABANAS
The Canopy combines the Florida casual lifestyle with a higher-class lounge making it the perfect place to relax for happy hour and a prime nightlife spot on the weekends. Settle into one of our many couches and enjoy a drink by one of our fire pits. Cabanas are available for more private seating (with a minimum bar tab), shaded from the hot Florida sun. Seating around the air-conditioned and covered bar also offers a comfortable experience during some of the warmer summer afternoons.

 

Casual and private, fresh fruit infused libations and hand crafted cocktails paired with specially prepared flatbreads, sliders and scrumptious appetizers make The Canopy a desired getaway, every day.

All cabana reservations have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If the reservation is NOT cancelled by then, you are responsible for the full amount of the quoted price.
