Hey, why wait 'til October? The Pier gets a jump on fall beer fests with this German-themed Saturday, which will feature a generous selection of German-style beers — international, domestic and local — German food, live German music and wacky Bavarian games. (Up for a bit of keg tossing?) Piertoberfest is also a great opportunity to don traditional German garb, so dust off those lederhosen and that dirndl. (Or, y'know, wear jeans.)
You will experience much joy. Saturday, noon to 10 p.m.

Hi, there. I'm Basil, and that's my sister Mozzarella. We do everything together. Sometimes I get tired of walking my human Jami around on this thing called a leash. (I swear she would get totally lost without me.) Still, I'm willing to put up with it if I can cruise around The Pier. It's me and Ella's favorite spot for a stroll. They call the place “pet-friendly," and I'll be the first one to tell you that that's absolutely true.
