Ronsha Brown is the founder and owner of Nurse Practitioners of Pinellas, LLC, she is an adult Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Gastroenterology and Women’s Health. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida then earned her Master of Science degree at University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

 

Owner and nurse practitioner Shay as she is lovingly called by family and friends, has devoted over seventeen years of outstanding patient care within her community. Her plans to cultivate her medical experience will expand her knowledge as a new business owner. Born and raised in south St. Petersburg Ms. Brown has always expressed her great love for the city and the new developments happening in the surrounding areas. As a young child her dream has always been to own a medical practice. She stepped out on faith and left corporate healthcare in 2018 to pursue her dream.

Ms. Brown's professional medical career began quickly after graduating college at FAMU. Shortly thereafter she joined St. Anthony's Hospital where she spent ten years plus providing patient care with BayCare one of the leading not-for-profit care systems that connects individuals and families to a wide range of services at over 15 hospitals and hundreds of other convenient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and central Florida regions. There she served as a RN and assistant Nurse Manager within the hospital’s medical surgical unit. All while serving four years as a nurse practitioner rape examiner with the Suncoast Rape Center in Pinellas County, Florida. Then she expanded her medical career to specialize in gastroenterology with Gastro of Florida for the next three years managing Inflammable Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic constipation, GERD, Cirrhosis and Pancreatitis.

 

With her leadership and medical knowledge Ms. Brown, the Practitioners and staff will provide new and established patients with a better quality of preventative healthcare.
